Kornati National Park Boat Tour

M.B. Torcida departs daily from the port of Murter to visit the Kornati National Park, one of the most fascinating archipelagos of the Adriatic Sea, which was granted national park status in 1980 due to its exceptional beauty, interesting geomorphology and rich marine ecosystem.

The wilderness of the Kornati archipelago is enriched only by rare human interventions, which testify to the attempts of the Murterites, as the main landowners on the Kornati Islands, to create conditions for life far from the coast. Respect for the past is still visible today through the stone walls – the boundaries between the plots, as well as the numerous churches, olive groves, piers and forts.

Perhaps the best way to experience this unique combination of the works of nature and man is to take a trip on a boat that has withstood more than six decades of "bora" and "jugo", the famous northern and southern winds of the Adriatic.
